Our Mission

Mississippi FFA educators are the backbone of one of the most unique and impactful agricultural education programs in the nation. Mississippi FFA makes a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth, and career success through agricultural education, and it is our teachers and advisors who bring that mission to life every single day.

As agriculture educators in the Magnolia State, we are committed to equipping the next generation of Mississippi's farmers, scientists, entrepreneurs, and community leaders with the skills, knowledge, and character they need to thrive. Ag teachers in Mississippi never have the same day twice. One day they might be in a classroom or laboratory, the next visiting students in the field, preparing teams for an FFA Career Development Event, or leading a community service activity with their FFA chapter.

Mississippi's agricultural education programs offer a variety of courses and our educators deliver these with passion and purpose. Whether guiding a student through their first Supervised Agricultural Experience, mentoring a chapter officer team, or advocating for agricultural education in their local schools and communities, Mississippi FFA advisors go above and beyond the classroom to shape lives and strengthen communities.
